Nightly builds (NEW)

Both of these work and require manual configuration, plenty of posts available detailing how.

I have mentioned before that Iā€™m seeing problems with watching live TV through Xbox tuners and TvHeadend server which Iā€™m running on H96 Max S905x2. I get the problems when using the TvHeadend client on the same box or on my N2. Revering to 9.2.1 stable cures it as Iā€™ve proven many times

The problem is random short stoppages to the video, sometimes associated with smearing of the image. Watching Liverpool becoming world champiions the other night, I could see the ball jerking as it moved quite a few times. Sometimes thereā€™s nothing wrong with the picture for tens of minutes at a time but at other times several stoppages will come along one after the other.

Hereā€™s a log from the S905x2 box. Iā€™ve had to view BBC One HD for a matter of seconds because if I let it run longer the log wonā€™t upload. I hope that thereā€™s something to see in it. http://ix.io/25SA. If thereā€™s anything else I can do to help you trace whatā€™s wrong, just let me know.

I donā€™t quite understand how itā€™s doneā€¦ :frowning:

I have seen this behaviour, both with SD and HD channels and I use 2 Xbox One tuners on my A95 Max.

It is very infrequent though and cannot be replicated at will.

I have also noted that with X265 content, there is regular slow motion stuttering of the video, with the audio continuing normally. I have to stop and start the video for it to resume correctly until 5 or 6 minutes later when it happens again. The logs show no issues.

Iā€™ve gone back to 9.2.1 stable for the Christmas period as I want playback for now but will go back to nightlies in the new year for more investigation.

Thanks!

This issue is still present as of the 20191230 nightly and I can also confirm that it happens on the VIM3 as well as the N2.

My x96 air lan 1000m play netflix to many lag. How to setting neflix?

Set 720p in Netflix addon and it will be ok. You can change max resolution in input stream adaptive.

Have anyone solved the Bluetooth function problem for X96 Max Plus?

Happy New year! Any news on the S905 development front?

@Forest I wrote to you about this in PM, the answer is still the same.

I believe the latest nightly is available for S905 devices. However I wouldnā€™t expect much in the future, the devices run well on the current stable and I believe active development is being aimed at the latest devices like the S922X.

There are active efforts currently been made to bring all the old SOCā€™s up to kernel 4.9, the only one that seems really problematic is the S912. Most of the work is done for the S905ā€™s.

Is there any hope for S912?
