Because as I said before nobody is currently working on that. It’s a bug.
How to get the ethernet working properly?
It’s only working when doing ethtool -s eth0 speed 100 duplex full.
Hi Ray.
No difference clearing the old keytable.
Output of ir-keytable if it’s any help.
CoreELEC:~ # ir-keytable

Working here without any setup with ethtool
What remote is this? Do you have amremote enabled? Can you try any other remote with ir-keytable?
I’m using the original xbox 360 media remote. But no other remote shows output with ir-keytable -t either.
This is a new install and presumably amremote isn’t enabled by default?
Maybe not the same as the HW slowdowns but definitely slowdowns. It is to the point that it’s unwatchable. I am using WiFi, you think that could be the issue?
Yeah Wifi is unreliable especially with inputstream
And no settings imported? I tested my mce remote which works out of the box. Yours should too iirc.
Even with the gui set to 1080p?
Matt
Nope. It’s a totally fresh install.
Puhh top of my head it feels like a hardware issue. But let’s see first. What img.gz did you flash?
Can you provide output of following commands after reboot and pressing IR buttons in kodi few times:
dmesg|paste
lsmod
cat /proc/interrupts|paste
I don’t have 4k projector, so yes always 1080p
It’s working
Following your hardware comment I compared my board to the photos and the IR sensor was bent down. It didn’t seem to be touching anything but I bent it vertical and it worked.
Cheers for your time.
Nice! Enjoy
wich testbuild are you running?
It is working since I got the N2 in March.
You will have to provide more info.
For starters get rid of any ethtool commands
Then reboot and post:
dmesg|paste
@Ray I’m running the build from the first post.
trying from sdcard and emmc.
No ethernet on both cards
Looks ok.
So you don’t get an ip in kodi or what?
I get an ip but it looks like the ethernet is not stable or something.
looks like sometimes there is connection and most of the time nothing.
After reboot i get a weird ip adres that isn’t in my range from my router.
it should be 192.168.178.xxx
but randomly i get someting like 168.231.xxx.xxx
