Samsung UE49KS7080. From what I see it can do HDR+ because there is an option in the menu. It came via firmware update. For Samsung it was called hdr1000 back in 2016.
But you are right, any TV showing this information would be a better choice. Maybe one could pass a Mediamarkt or another random TV store
The wifi adapter works just fine. After setup was complete, I went back into CoreElec settings and was able to configure it. The bug was just that it âcrashed/failedâ during setup.
Iâve just turned on my TV and the N2 come out of suspend mode through CEC and all the artwork was missing from my movies plus the recently added and Movie tab are showing as a list, if I change it back to shift and then go back to main dash and back again it shows a list again. Only a reboot brings everything back to how it should be.
Should I not bother with suspend mode through CEC? it was just set like that to start with.
What is the best state to leave the box in when not in use?
When I come out of Suspend (chosen from power menu, not via CEC) on my box I have the Settings screens all messed up. Reboot fixes this back to normalâŚ
My TV , the physic pixel is 1920x1080, but compatible with 4k, so in the white list I can see 3840x2160@30hz option, I leave the whitelist blank.,playback the sample video, TV display the hdmi signal is 3840x2160@24Hz. it means N2 hdmi output is 4K. the picture stutter.
N2 connect to pc monitor(support 1080P@50/60hz,not support 24Hz), in the whitelist, the max option is 1920x1080P@60hz, playback the sample video, monitor show the signal is 1080P, the picture no stutter.,no skip.
The issue I am having waking up from suspend with CEC is I have no picture my AVR says âNo Signalâ in the display I have to switch input and then back to N2 to get picture, but that could be AVR related not sure it is annoying though to get the AVR remote to.
Probably AVR related, is your dash set to 1080p? I had a similar problem setting it to 4096.
Setting it to 4096 and changing between various movies i kept losing the signal but 3840 and below worked fine.
Iâve just left GUI at 1080p I think thatâs best for now.
OK, N2 up and running now, just a couple of issuesâŚ
Firstly, changing to Crazycat DVB drivers (which I need for my PCTV 292e dongle) stops the official Odroid Remote from working.
Second, (total n00b question - sorry) - How do I install CoreELEC to eMMC? I got the SD eMMC Reader but my Windows PC wonât recognise it. Do I need to do this in Linux or is my USB card reader not compatible? eMMC currently has Ubuntu installed.
Either with an adapter and flash like you would flash an microsd card with CE. Or use my script. You need to install CE on SD card and run odroidn2toemmc. Follow instructions. Still beta.
