I don’t think it’s like that. It’s a 85" hisense Uled TV. It’s big but shows its flaws. I also have a Hisense and the PQ limitations are kind of obvious. For perfect black, go OLED
When using audio passthru with eARC skipping chapters and FF/RWD triggers Dolby Vision. Letting kodi decode the audio or connecting ugoos directly to receiver the issue is not present.

Hi, I ran into a problem with ugoos am6b+ but I’m not sure if this is the correct space to report it. In short, when I stop playing bd folders and iso, and then start the same video via resume, for some strange reason I find subtitles enabled when they weren’t enabled before. Is this a bug related to the resume function?
Several bugs on BDMV fixed in past days.
Try 10/15 nightly and see if bug persists.
I’m using 2.1.1 stable for a while now and are pretty happy with it. Now I noticed in the installation guide 2.1.1 is removed as recomendation and instead it says: “Due to significant bug fixes, do not use the last stable release.” What are these significant bugs that are present in 2.1.1 stable?
10/15 nightly not out yet, need to wait a few more hours
Any list of BDMV errors fixed?
I know about these:
- Seeking / chapter skipping audio sync and video stutter issues for Dolby Vision ISO/BDMV fixed
- Full (BD-J) menu not being displayed for some Dolby Vision ISO/BDMV titles (wrong video layer chosen)
- Stuttering / sync issues fixed for some Dolby Vision ISO/BDMV titles when skipping or resuming
OK thanks. But I think those were fixed last week weren’t they? I definitely know one of them was fixed before this week because I reported it. I recognize the other two as well.
The third one was fixed in today’s nightly. The other two were already fixed earlier, yes.
I installed the latest nightly version. But I still have choppy playback with some DV P7 FEL movies.
Only if I start them from 0:00 I don’t have choppy playback. In all other cases I have choppy playback
Why nobody does understand that without log or samples nobody can help?
Like @Portisch said, please provide a sample. Or tell us which movie and which format (ISO/BDMV/MKV)?
I am uploading the log file. I hope I did it right.

Those are not samples of the DV P7 FEL movies you are playing, they’re just recordings of your TV screen
Please try to create a real sample of the movie you’re playing using tsmuxer or something.
The sample is in the log file. I have uploaded the recordings and the photo additionally so that it can be clearly seen…

Here it says to upload photos. I’ve uploaded a photo and video to show choppy playback and make it clear…

Can you verify your settings here:
Especially the sections on SMB/NFS/Caching and hardware acceleration
I have done all these settings. I have been struggling with this problem for a long time. I’ve tried different settings for SMB/NFS/Caching and hardware, but no luck.
Is it still choppy after seeking either forwards or backwards?
Have you adjusted this setting?
