i’ve installed CE on emmc via powershell. now my box starts always with CE. that is fine. but how can i sometimes go back to android? is there a option for this?
I have newer Am6b Plus from August of this year with newer firmware 054n
Wifi 6
Not sure about Ram chipset
Never had any issues
Have tried to reproduce your dropout issue.
The only thing that comes close was a remux.ts test file from frodo
Was using smb share over local network
At the start TV flags
Dolby
Dolby Vision
Dolby Digital Audio
There is a glitch about 5 secs in
The audio signal breaks(maybe this is the sync issue)
TV Flags HDMI 1 searching for input (this happens so fast can not hardly notice)
Then Video resmes playback
All is fine.
Same test file on Terrabyte External Drive using USB 3.0 Port
No issues
Plays right through
Try this:
Buffer mode - cache settings to ALL methods: smb, local, remote, etc
Read factor - Set to “10x”
Memory size - Set “128mb” cache size
If you use SMB, make sure you set the highest version you can use.
Settings / Services → SMB Client:
Minimum protocol version - “SMB3”
Maximum protocol version - “SMB3”
SMB Chunk Size - Set “1 MB”
If you can’t connect with SMB3, set both settings to SMB2
you can also use iperf3 to check if you got some bottleneck on the way: read here
i can’t play gemini man remux 60fps from my ugoos if it is connected to my yamaha receiver. Is there a bug? My yamaha receiver has hdmi 2.1 ports en cables.
It played sometimes very well. But i get often only sound and not a picture. Anybody else the same problem?
Billy lynn is working fine. The DV of gemini man in combination with 60fps is the problem i think.
Plays fine on my end. Here’s a few thing that you can try.Try a different cable from ugoos to receiver and display or maybe the ugoos to display directly. Some TVs like my sony requires me to have external input set to enhanced.Else have logs uploaded so developers can look into what’s wrong
I think it’s highly unlikely to be a coreelec issue given how many of us are using it on our AM6B+ devices without issue. I have mine connected to a Yamaha 3070 and then onto an LG C9.
I have this issue randomly on my TCL QM8 series tv. I used the cable that came with the device, the one that came with my Xbox Series X, one from Walmart, and two different 8k ones from Monoprice. I purchased the Monoprice cables to ensure that the audio sync issue that has been bugging me isn’t related to my cables. The video blanking out is annoying but rare.
The cable that came with the device went straight in the bin 15 mins after I got my device up and running. It showed really obvious sparklies on some
Dolby Vision content and clearly wasn’t capable. I’ve now watched about 35 films in their entirety. Would I expect to see a drop out in that time?
