[S922X] Ugoos AM6(+), Help & Support

does anyone know why in some 1080p videos (movies/series) you can choose the upscaler (spline36, lanczos3 etc) but in most 1080p you can’t? there is not choice?

I’m using this device on wifi with a deco mesh network.I notice on wakeup from suspend it connects to 2.4ghz rather than 5ghz.I tried to prioritise 5ghz on the mesh side. However I think the device tries to connect to 2.4ghz gets rejected and fails to connect. So I have to manually connect again for it to connect.I just wanted to know if there’s a way to prefer the 5ghz network without having to have separate ssid for both. Can provide logs or any other information if necessary.

Is it only me that DV.mp4 files won’t play with CE?
Downloaded some demos from jennifergala and non of those are playable with am6 or sk1 :grimacing:
Same files plays fine with android 21.2 in my tcl TV.

Hi All, Struggling to install CoreElec on a Ugoos AM6B+. I’ve detailed it here and here with screenshots here, but the summary is using the reset button method, I can’t get the unit to boot into CoreElec, it only boots into Android recovery.
Solved: I was missing dovi.ko and remote.conf in root.

Double check your device tree.

Been a while since I’ve setup CoreElec (Odroid C2), and I’m getting errors with Plex which says to check the log. I’ve mapped an smb share in CoreElec.

Same plex error after clean install.

When i compare minix s922xj and Ugoos Am6plus with s922 xj,i identified many specific errors for device Ugoos Am6plus at developed CE22NO:

But what it means?

Does video playback works? If it does ignore this logs

There is framebuffer issue when starting ce22no during first part of booting animation (noise - but same at device minix). Maybe it would be have impact also at performance of vpu. If is it question for optimalization of dtb (irq map?), it would be better fix it. Only you know that how is it fragile.

Hi everybody!

One of you has try to use microSDXC (64GB or more) on AM6B+ (officially “up to 32GB”)?
I launch CE from my old 4GB C6 and I want to buy a new one with better perf and a bit more space. But today all prices of cards <= 32GB (C10 A1 and more) cost as much as many cards >= 64GB V30 A2! Of course, I don’t want to pay as much for give less…

Thank you!

I have an AM6B+ incoming and since all guides are 1+ year old and recommend nightlies I was wondering if one can just use the stable 21.2 version now for DV support and no issues? Or is it stable 21.2 + dovi.ko?

I will beusing this guide: [Guide] S922X-J (Ugoos AM6b+) CoreELEC installation and FAQs

Follow all the steps mentioned in the guide, just use the stable 21.2 version instead of the 21-ng nightly build. Everything else stays the same.

Goo day everyone,

I am kind of lost and I am sure I will be missing infomration in my post.
Let me know if you need more info.

I have an issue where during movies about 3 out of 4 (could be from 15 minutes to 40 minutes) the playback just stops and it takes me to the menu.

From the menu I can do resume.
This take about 5 seconds.

This doesnt happen when I watch tv shows.

To make the install i used :Dolby Vision for Minix U22X-J (Max) and Ugoos AM6+

I also have it run in dual boot.
I made the modification that people sugested as well.
The device is hook to a NAS using wired. Wifi is not connected.

This is the version I am runing:

Running on UGOOS AM6B with CoreELEC (official): 21.2-Omega, kernel: Linux ARM 64-bit version 4.9.269

model name : Amlogic S922X rev b
Hardware : UGOOS AM6B

If I am in the wrong place or you guy’s need more info please let me know.

Thanks.
