hello, i’m using am9 pro with latest nightly
DV FEL isnt working anymore, maybe a correlation with the dovi.ko file? i’m using the file posted at the begining of this post.

i tried to replace my current dovi.ko with that one https://discourse.coreelec.org/uploads/short-url/5JeaPC2keKEnMgjCf25WPFrNKPC.ko under /storage/.config/dovi.ko via ssh
that did the trick and FEL is working again - thank you for that

but when i stopped my FEL example (alien: romulus) CE only showed a small pixeled window with wrong colors and froze

It was only for MEL in the past but now also FEL is supported but different module is needed.

You have AVR in the middle. Some of cables could be bad for high bandwitch , try direct connect with different cables and you will find a reason.

So i went back to the hdmi cable it came with and changed back to enhanced and now its fine, very strange, thought 2.1 cable would be better

Should I update the box to firmware 2.1.0? (Currently on 2.0.9). Has anyone else done it, and it’s OK?

I’ve only seen the update message because I’ve had two spontaneous reboots in CE NO and it rebooted to Android. Nothing I could get to reproduce with logging though.

FW 2.1.0 works ok, booting from sd-card correctly every time, no spontaneus reboots so far, after using AM9 pro a couple of days. Hoping install to emmc works someday in the future.

EDIT: Install to emmc succeeded using secret highly dangerous code

System is crashing while trying to access my source set as TV shows, changing it to Movies seems to fix it. am on the latest nightly
