I am happy with sk1~ but it still have some issue with coreelec.
Its a bit unstable. Some freez & crash.
Also the bluetooth doesn’t work properly on sk1.
I will say~ it will need some time to get mature/stable.
For now the hardware spec. for sk1 still top of the line.
I’m new to coreELEC but used kodi since before it was kodi. I have a couple of issues with Ugoos SK1 running “CoreELEC-Amlogic-ne.aarch64-21.2-Omega_nightly_20250321-Generic.img” none of the dovi.ko files gives me Dolby Vision and when the kodi is set to 3840 x 2160p it only displays in top left corner of screen or if kodi is set to 1920 x 1080p but i watch a movie in 4k the OSD only display’s in the top left corner of screen. Thanks
I am struggling to get latest CE No installed on mine.
I downloaded CoreELEC-Amlogic-no.aarch64-22.0-Piers_nightly_20250326-Generic.img.gz, used Rufus to transfer it to a 32GB USB Stick, copied the dtb.img and remote.conf file to the roote of the USB… Remove power from box, plug in USB, use tooth pick and plug in the power cable…
Basically followed same steps that I have used for previous CE versions, but this one is not loading at all, I don’t get anything, no matter how long I wait
not sure what I am doing wrong
Thank you, that worked. Another issue, the time is off by 4 hours. There is NO settings on the NO to set the location. Not sure where it is getting the location from.
I am using the Dune HD Pro Vision 8k plus, which is the same as the Ugoos SK1.
Hehe, no Kodi Team removed this setting since “automatic time zone” was introduced.
But their “automatic” is not smart enough and does not always work, so CE Team brought it back in their CE settings for convenience, and naturally for old people
