Ugoos UR02 Remote

Blockquote

I tried that as well and it did not work.
How exactly did you do that?

Read here.

Thatā€™s how I tried it.

Letting the grey power button of the UR2 remote learn the red power on/off of the UR1 remote.
For some reason it did not learn this command. The lights on the UR2 did not blink.

Any idea what I was doing wrong?

Thanks.

Hmmm. There is an fw update possibility to the ur2 remote, in ugoos site. I made that earlier.
Try the distance change from the remotes, when teach, and not long press just short.
Or you can reset that button first.

Thanks again. Very strange.

Right now even my UR1 remote wont turn on my Ugoos AM;B6 plusā€¦
I wonder what is wrong here.

I have no idea whats going on there. Both my original, and UR2 works on it. The Bluetooth mode paired too after boot.

Very strange indeed.

Could you maybe post your remote.conf file?

Thanks.

Both is here.

Hi,

Finally got it to work.
I had to use a spare UR1 remote to get the UR2 to learn to turn on the AMB6 (the original UR1 did not work).
Thanks again for your help.

Does anyone know what the latest firmware is?

The Android app says I have version 3761378373 and that there is no new version available. Thanks!

The reason I ask is that my UR02 sometimes stops working under CE-21 NG on the AM6B+ and I need to reboot to get it working again. Strange thing is that even when itā€™s not working, it still shows up as connected in CEā€™s Settings menu.

Bluetooth is hit and miss: nothing we can do.
Usually better handling is achieved with USB BT dongle in such cases.

Hi,

I have UR01 and UR02 remote for my AM6B Plus, they work properly as expected. I prefer to use UR02, however it is not possible to control volume and use mute button, because I use audio passthrough in order to have Dolby Atmos played correctly on my LG C3. Would it be possible to somehow teach the bluetooth signals of volume control buttons of LG remote to UR02 remote? Best I can think of is to disconnect UR02 from Bluetooth, use it in infrared mode, and teach signals of my LG remote, but unfortunately LG remote is Bluetooth/NFC only remote.

Any ideas would be appreciated which could help me to reach my goal: use UR02 for control volumes even in audio passthrough mode. Thanks in advance.

Do you have cec disabled?

yes, I have CEC disabled. My understanding is that with CEC I could control CoreElec/Kodi only with LG TVā€™s remote. But I would prefer to use UR02 and control volume with that too even when there is audio passthrough enabled.

Not true, enable cec and your Bluetooth remote will still work, volume and mute included.

Yes, with CEC everything works with the LG TV remote. But my intention would be that everything works using the Ugoos UR02 remote. I guess it is simply not possible to control volume with Ugoos remote in case audio passthrough is used.

You wonā€™t get no indication on screen but volume control works with Bluetooth and pass thru.

It does not work for me. Only with LG remote control I can control audio. Not sure what I do wrong. It would be good if a CoreElec developer could confirm that it is not possible to use Ugoos UR02 remote in bluetooth mode in case audio passthrough is enabled.

Hi, the remote has built-in bluetooth microphone for Google Assistant (Android TV).
Any chance it can be used on Linux? I didnā€™t managed to even find the mic evidence on Gnome PCā€¦
