I read the discussion on git. I noticed kodi picking the wrong res settings resulting inâŚless than fluid behaviour and i think this will do it.
No worries. I figure if something is bugging me, and itâs not really obscure, itâs bound to be bugging others. And I like to help out if I can, even if itâs just describing the issue fairly properly.
I am not really into C++ and I havenât got a Kodi buildchain set up anywhere, but in this case it was fairly easy to just read through the logs and the code to see what would be happening.
I do really dislike jerky playbackâŚ
Hi I have 2xOdroid-N2+ with Matrix 19.0 installed + MCE remote.
Unfortunately the fast forward / reverse doesn´t work well. Sometimes the upper video clip slider doesn´t move to the actual chosen position, sometimes it jumps to that point but fails to play smoothly the video. Only choppy video pictures to see. Before Matrix everything was ok.
Tested with initial Matrix (3.3.21) and CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-19.0-Matrix_nightly_20210311 from today.
I can confirm. It doesnât matter if I use my mce remote, tv remote or the UI buttons. When I hit play afterwards, the video isnât at all smooth, but stutters. Only stop/start works.

I took 2 video clips and fast forwarded the timeline with my MCE remote, after forwarding often no picture at all or choppy playback. Or black screen. Hope you can fix that. Before Matrix timeline seeking was fine. I´ve tested with different video clips and formats. Always the same errors.

Massive improvement in 0311.
Reduced the incidents to nearly none.
There were a couple of hiccups over the course of few hours but nothing that would warrant further action IMO.

Bump on this. Any devâs have any ideas or what other information do you need? Bluetooth audio worked in 9.2.x but not in -ng builds.
As minimum you should switch off sync playback to display first and try.
If still doesnât work then please try to update to current nightly and check if it works.
If still not, collect full log on nightly build.
Enable debug logging in Kodi and try to pair your BT device
Then run pastekodi and ce-debug again and post the URLs you receive.

Supports CoreELEC 19.0 Matrix Dolby Vision? DV works for me on Android TV Kodi 19, but CoreELEC 19.0 Matrix DV does not work.

If youâre hoping to install CE 19, or any NG build to that box, you will likely need to update the bootloader to something more modern. With the bootloader used on the provided Android 6 youâll get odd system lockups. The box may boot but be mostly unusable. I have an android 7.1.2 firmware that I installed to my X96 2/16 and allows me to run NG builds without errors.
