Please also collect ce-debug output for current 9.2.6
Also please try clean 9.2.6 on different usb/sd card, enable whitelist and confirm if it’s working correctly or not.
If not then we will check later that could be the reason…

9.2.6 - whitelist off - video o.k.
9.2.5 - whitelist off - video o.k.
9.2.5 - whitelist on - video not o.k.
And here I don’t understand if you have the same issue in 9.2.5 with whitelist on or not?
My Magicsee N5 plus (s905x2) auto-upgraded on the wife today and the TV remote (CEC) stopped working. I found the original remote and downgraded to 9.2.5 to get her up and running again. What do I need to do to debug this I will upgrade later when the TV s not in use to find out what is happening.
Exactly the same problem with my SX905X board. Sound dissapeared then video freezed. I tried videos from SMB source and streams from youtube, with same results.
Anyone can give me a hint how to return to previous version?
Edit: I found it, in CoreELEC settings: disable Auto update, then choose Update Channel
Hi! How to safely downgrade to version 9.2.5? There was a noticeable video jerk in Live TV (some HD channels) after the update. Khadas VIM3L. Log http://ix.io/2QPV
Fully configured the required configuration for 9.2.6 - everything works fine. I haven’t done a clean install for a very long time, probably two years. It is significant how the size of the backup file has decreased, it was more than 200 MB, it became - just over 40 MB
Ok, but it still need some clearing: so you mean I can simply update with the automatic OTA method to 9.2.6? Than switch off the Box, get the SD card and plug in to a PC, copy and rename the GT1 mini .dtb file to it’s place and than just put the card back to the Box? Or after the OTA update I can also copy the .dtb file to the Box’s SD card through LAN from the PC and than just reboot the Box? Thanks!
