Other than DV it plays OK on my S905x4
Plays as HDR10
I know the X5M doesnāt support DV, but the sample has HDR10 fallback that doesnāt play.
I have in sum now two samples, with your last one.
So best would be to share a working sample as well. So itās much easier to hunt the reasonā¦
I tested the linked file on the X96 M300, and playback is flawless, 4K HDR10, and AV1. Sound and picture are okay.

The working sample(working test.mkv) has DV Profile string ādav1.10.08ā. I also have files with the same profile string, and all of them play back fine. But the one that is not working and giving a blank screen has ādav1.10.06ā. It might be a cause, which can be confirmed if there are more test files with the same profile string.
The same non-working file(Test.mkv) plays fine in fallback HDR10 mode after disabling DV in System settings. Tested on my G1 S905X4-J.
I will post a sample from a different movie that has got the same problem and does not play.
I did your same observations regarding the DV profile string but, of course, I know nothing about DV10 profile soā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦ā¦
EDIT: with today NO Alpha 1 this and the previous file play perfectly. Thanks CE Team

Apols if Iām not using the right terminology or asking for the wrong thing but I had some issues with the CE set up process not being colour-blind friendly. The short answer is emveepee found out what the issue was with the radio buttons (texture images) and suggested what the changes needed to be and I verified that they worked.
So what is the process for those changes to be checked etc. and added to the next release? I asked in my original thread but no one answered so I figured Iād ask here. Iām still happy to test anything.

If I get it right from the posts here, DV is in general working but not FEL decoding at all, even for the Ugoos AM6B+. And it will probably never work due to the not correct dovi.ko file for this kernel. Is this correct?
If yes and if we want full FEL decode we need to stay with the -ng version?
As far as I know, Amlogic has removed FEL support from kernels newer than 4.9.xxx, so yes, if you want FEL, use CE-NG.

What additional enjoyment does CE22 bring, comparing to CE21.2?
Coreelec team dont have enough developer. For me is also CE21ng better choice due to issues at CE22no. But at CE21NG is missing better cpu frequance management which was implemtwd only at CE22no. My 922xj know use 500 mhz as minimum only at CE22no, and at CE21ng is the lest frequance of same cpu at 677 mhz as minimum. Device is AM6PLUS. Also is missing better maintance at CE21NG compare to CE22no due to not enough developer of CE.
