@boot2k3
I downgraded to rc1, this weekend I want to watch movies. It was my mistake to think stable is stable…
I will update to rc3 maybe next week.
Edit: And yes, my projector is 1080p, but this was never a problem, only with rc2 and rc3. With rc1 and ALL older releases, works 4k on this projector (down scaled to 1080p).
Beelink GT King Pro with Coreelec KODI the screen darkens when the movie starts and the TV shows that there is no signal, the same when the movie starts and I give a stop … I forgive my English, I use Google translator, I use … CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm -19.4-Matrix_rc3-Generic in Android 9 is all OK.
“Minix Neo T5” will restart right after the initial MINIX string in the loop.
I checked all the night versions. Build 20220110 → OK, Build 20220112 → Not OK. Probably the problem with booting the system from the SD card was caused by some new function introduced in Build 20220112
84f95fc301: Tue Nov 9 16:17:48 2021 +0100 - u-boot: bump u-boot packages to d3c411ea
a6cb6af025: Fri Nov 19 09:16:15 2021 +0100 - cfgload: add SC2 boot support Use 'loadaddr_kernel' if defined and use 'bootm [addr]' because of a fallback "feature" to the default loadaddr implemented by Amlogic in u-boot. SC2 do have another loadaddr than other SoC before.
82212bb1a1: Mon Oct 11 14:59:02 2021 +0200 - Amlogic-ng: rework display mode to use 'vout' 'hdmimode' and 'cbsmode' got removed in 4.9.269
04a37e3506: Fri Oct 8 09:18:13 2021 +0200 - Amlogic-ng: adjust linux config for 4.9.269
Since these changes, no new version of CoreElec does not allow for a proper boot from an SD or USB card.
Was running and working fine with 19.3 using gxl_p281_2g.dtb. However, I made the mistake and did the auto upgraded to 19.4 rc3. Now CE will not boot. It stuck on the console and never reached the CE bootimage. The error message “Error in mount_flash: mount_common: Could not mount LABEL=COREELEC”
Hi. I have installed the current version of CE on a Nexbox A95X with SD card.
Beside some reboot crashes while playing movies because of instable WiFi it works in general.
There is one issue I currently have no idea what to do. The Nexbox is connected to a Samsung QLED TV.
If I start the Box while the active TV HDMI channel is the box, it takes a minute and then I can see Kodi.
However if I start the box while the TV is on another HDMI channel and switch to the box channel later the TV says „no signal“ forever until I reboot the box again.
The problem of the random HDMI CEC wake-ups and related issues identified: it was caused by the “Aeon Nox: SiLVO” plug-in/skin. Hope this might help someone who falls into the same pit.
Later update: This proved to be WRONG! The cause is somewhere else, the issue is not solved!
Since updating to 19.4 RC3 from 19.3 on Odroid N2+ my .M2TS format music videos now stutter continuously. The audio is OK.
Tried a clean install of the latest nightly build (20220226), but the problem remains.
