Try again with clean install without any addon installed,
especially banned addon like plugin.video.fen
I get the same issue, but only when Iām using the SDR->DV/HDR->DV feature from CPM build. Are you using the Kodi equivalent?
im on omega-ng latest nightly + debrid addon + kodi skin + dovi ko
Another workaround i found out when the video play at 422 10 bit with purple green bug, go to video-calibrate and then just cancel without any calibration-the movie will change to 422 12bit and no more green purple problem.
The bottom-line/row-of-pixels-duplication-bug that was fixed back in June by @boot2k3 with commits 640f2dc and 23d333b seems to have returned in the NE nightlies when decoding h264 with hardware acceleration. On CE21 nightly from the 28th of November
Update: it was my LG C3 acting up. Needed a power reset, everything back to normal.
Something broke for me with CEC in the latest NG nightly from today. When trying to adjust volume with either an UR-01 or a UR-02 it will only adjust the internal volume but does not send CEC volume commands to my soundbar anymore.
Did it happen to anyone else?
Jokes on me I guess because I never got that to work - adjust TV volume. Always has adjusted internal volume.
Has always worked for me up until today. But I suspect itās my TV or soundbar acting up and not CoreEelec, as I just noticed the TV stopped switching HDMI input automatically when pressing different remotes too.
Guess Iāll have to start disconnecting and rebooting stuff
Newer nightlies will have a reworked Dolby Vision Led mode selection.
The available options are filled on kodi start depending by the used TV.
If DV TV-Led is available this is used as standard like before.
But now it will also work when only DV Player-Led mode is available.
Is there a way to force this or do some sort of redetect after launch? On my setup that goes ugoss ā sony receiver ā LG TV, it never lists anything under that section of system settings (although DV does work). It seems that when using HDMI-CEC to power it all on, I presume the ugoos boots up before everything else has fully come on and advertised itself.
Could keep box on 24/7 and have it ignore shutoff. Power draw is so low it literally is just pennies a month
Exactly. I do this for all my Boxes. Saves stuffing around.
They also load updates in the background as well
Same here.
My original āprojectā was to replace my providerās tv box and that one drew a lot more.
Is it really that low? Maybe itās simpler to leave on then like you say.
I measured it here and calculated the cost based on expensive electricity prices:
About 0.30 a month to keep it on 24/7
Found a bug with Ce-no latest build nightly for Homatics box r 4k plus.
Whenever i play vc1 video and then i click stop button the Ce will freeze or crash and i need to power off the box and switch on it back.
this happen when i set vc1= accelerate
but of i set vc1= disable i can stop the video and ce will not crash freeze.

log :
The CE21-ne nightlies at least since 20241128 are skipping frames randomly on my AM8 Pro. Iāve tried to catch the issue in a debug log but it seems they rarely if ever appear when there is some menu like the CPU usage or player debug info displayed on the screen.
I just tried the latest nightly without debugging enabled and it worked until I put the player debug output on and then off. Almost instantly skipping here and there.
How could I try to help in tracing this? I know Iām not the only one who has observed this.
Edit: it seems to affect HW decoded HEVC video at least. AVC doesnāt skip under the same circumstances.
I observed the issue more yesterday, and it definitely happens when there is nothing other than the video displayed on the screen. If I enable debug log, which adds its own things there, the skips donāt seem to occur. In normal mode, skips are happening quite constantly.
Is it possible to prevent the debug logging from adding stats on the screen so I could get a log output for review?
