OK thanks a lot.

An understanding question: does the official firmware affect the functions of CE, or it does not matter which version of the stock firmware is installed?

Does anyone have an answer?

It depends. Android firmware changes the uboot too and that could affect CE.

Anyhow, you can use the stable version of CoreElec V9.2.0 :
CoreELEC V9.2.0 stable

Beelink released a firmware update which addresses the ethernet issues. Can you confirm this and if so, then it can probably also be fixed in CoreELEC?

I have installed the newest FW from Beelink GT-King, and that not affected to my coreelec. All working in CE like before.

Hi there !

I m pretty new in this kind of stuff.

I received a Beelink Gt King and install the stable version of coreelec rev a.

It works fine on most of my movies even 4K with dts hd ma sound but with one .mkv movie 4K 10bits the color are too bright with no HDR activated.

If I try to play it via iptv all is good but directly with the video player of Coreelec it miss the HDR.

I take a look on the video setting of the media player and it says 3840*2600 24hz max.

Is it far from the 4K 75hz written on the box.

Any idea ?

3840x2600 is far beyond the specification but I think it is a typo.
Probably you found a HDR10+ movie which you cannot play right now in HDR.
Which movie is this?

For all who had problem with Gigabit on GTK, you can try to update Android to 905P0 firmware.
If after that no Ethernet in CE then power off the box, unplug power cable and plug it again and check.
My Gbit issue was solved that way.

So they fixed something in uboot when the fix also applies to CE?

Do you have gigabit speeds now or did they maybe just throttle the interface so it connects?

Don’t know that they fixed.
But yes, I have Gigabit both way now in CE too

That is definitely good news. Are there any other issues with this box running CE or is it basically the same as N2?

I know cooling is not ideal and it can only be run from SD but apart from that it should be equal to N2?

Sorry I was a bit t tired yesterday.

It is 4096*2160 24hz

And it is Bohemian raphsody in .mkv

When I select to play on my tv in coreelec all is good because it is my tv how decode but with the coreelec player image are bright it miss the something.

HDR10+ content is currently only displayed in SDR, maybe that’s why you are not getting HDR.

How the Bohemian Rhapsody could be that resolution? What is the source for that?
You should get rid of the 4096x2160 resolution modes with Whitelist.
But the original UHD BD is HDR10+ format so as I wrote earlier this could be the source of your problem.
Right now you need a box with 3.14 kernel to watch HDR10+ movies in HDR.

Sorry maybe I m not clear on what I m saying.

The max resolution of the app I found is 4096*2160 24Hz

And the movie with the bad color is Bohemian Rhapsody 10bits hdr hevc.

Maybe your right it is Dolby vision…

Box with kernel 3.14? Better than Beelink ?

Maybe you are right…:man_shrugging:t2:
