Dolby Vision for Minix U22X-J (Max) and Ugoos AM6+

Hello! Thank you for the detailed guide, CoreELEC is up and running!

One question, I have multiple BD ISO called Hybrid, that include HDR10 and Dolby Vision metadata formats. When trying to play them, HDR10 is activated in the TV, not Dolby Vision. Is this kind of ISO files supported in CoreELEC? Or do they need to be pure DV discs? Thank you!

Why anybody do expect help when not provide any logs?

No log, no problem!

Enable Kodi debugging including video component and make logs.
https://wiki.coreelec.org/coreelec:ce_support

At least Youtube and Netflix, use it for a long time.

What do you mean by “hybrid” BD ISO?

AFAIK, UHD discs can have SDR video, HDR10(+) video or DV video, where the DV part is contained in a secondary video track. This secondary track can be either MEL (RPU data only) or FEL (Full Enhancement Layer).

What does Makemkv say about the format of those discs? And what does Mediainfo say if you check the largest M2TS file on the disc?

And like Portisch said, post a debug log please.

YouTube sure, never seen Netflix av1 releases though.

someone an idea why it’s not playing? would love to watch the movie. with the Zidoo z9x pro and the shield the movie is playing in dv (of course bad quali…

No logs, vague description. Not even a film title just a random screenshot of basic information. Low effort post.

Who knows, maybe you have a bad homemade rip.

Receiving Ugoos am6 plus in couple days.
So there are 1748 post in the topic. Could someone kindly point me at the actual guide to install coreelec to AM6 Plus with all its DV capabilities?
Do i still have to download a special build?
Do i have to copy the dovi.ko file?
Are there any issues with internal install?
Is it still -ng version actual?
Thanks in advance

Thanks. Its all clear now, except for internal installation. I see that its possible to install CE on dualboot mode.
Is it possible to install CE in singleboot mode or DV needs some android boot files?

A post was merged into an existing topic: Am6b+ doesn‘t play DV movies with GUI at 4k

yo sorry I’m new to all that. I’m trying. mission impossible 7, no bad home rip. remux I think best possible quali. will try to find the logs.
description was not so poor? there’s not so much to report.
I press play it’s either a content loading circle for minutes or a Grey screen with a little play symbol in the the middle. in that case I have full sound.

it’s not the GUI scaling bug, I had that last week  all other dv movies are playing excellent. it’s also to my understanding not a cache issue 128 and adaptive) and def no network or dv capability chain issue.

I thought it’s maybe the profile 7.6 whatever that is telling us…

@TheCoolest are you able to download this one?

Argg.

Ok, how about this one?

Unfortunately doesn’t mean file is without issues. And without knowing exactly which file it is, no one can help you Godzilla Minus One froze my box until I remuxed it myself with Makemkv. Try another file.

There is no “marking” if it’s dual DV stream. So you will need to fix your remuxes.

Try Makemkv.
