Progress! CE does now show the WLAN configurations options, but it appears not to be scanning for networks: there are no WIFI network in the Connection menu item. Furthermore:

Please try tomorrow CE-19 nightly. The WiFi 3030:3030 X96 Mini should now work.
It uses the SSV6030P WiFi SoC and the driver was needed to be adjusted.
@Portisch There´s any chance to change the script ceemmc, to install the firmware in NAND in this new x96 mini, because somethimes when in sdcard, we´ve got small freezes. In the old x96 mini i can install in nand, and run like a charm…
When i try install in nand in this new x96 mini, it takes a eternety to install, and then when restart is very slow to start ( 3 or 4 minutes). And then is very slowly to work to.
Ceemmc is working normally and the device is booting fast.
Sometimes it’s different from device to device due to hardware problems. I once had a X96 air to test and the booting processe from cemmc took over one minute and we have dozens of X96 air running CE and no complaints.
Try it on another X96 mini if you haven’t tried it already in new nightly. If it’s still slow try a fresh install and not an upgrade.
Yes i´ve got one X96 air with this problem too, but i ask to supplier change it, and the problem is solved.
With this new x96 mini, the problem is very different, yes i try a fresh install with the new nightly, in other new x96 mini, but seems the problem remains, i believe is about hardware problems.
After this, i flash the box with original firmware again, boot from sdcard, and works normally.
Just tried the nightly build “CoreELEC-Amlogic-ng.arm-19.1-Matrix_nightly_20210419-Generic.img.gz” on my X96 Max+ (S905x3, 4g/32g, gbe). It seems WiFi & BT are working now (It was not working in CoreELEC 19).
